Dr. Rebecca Moore grew up in Middletown, MD. She attended Stevenson University for her undergraduate degree, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She was a goal keeper for Stevenson University’s Women’s Soccer Team her first semester, but unfortunately was unable to continue after a career ending concussion. After her concussion, she became a member of Stevenson’s Track and Field team. Through her own personal rehabilitation journey, she found her passion for physical therapy. After working for 2 years as a clinical assistant, she started her journey towards her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Shenandoah University, where she graduated in August 2021.
As she starts her journey as a physical therapist, she enjoys treating a variety of patient presentations. She has special interests in concussion rehab, sports performance, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Rebecca will start pursuing her pelvic floor rehabilitation speciality at the beginning of this year. She hopes to be able to merge the worlds of sports and pelvic floor rehab in the future.
When not working, Rebecca enjoys powerlifting, playing recreational sports, and baking.
